(VRI), working on an 'as-needed' contract/project basis (1099), operating in the Vanguard Way, you will represent Vanguard Resources at contracted facilities department(s), oversee staff, and be responsible for physical building/structures and surrounding areas. You will ensure compliance with TJC & CMS, other federal accreditation agencies, state health departments, and other regulatory business appointments. You will interpret policies and procedures to the appropriate personnel as needed, and review and evaluate existing programs, services, policies, and procedures. Also responsible for vendor scheduling, documentation, and ensuring timely repairs. May be required to submit periodic reports.IMPORTANT: ACUTE-CARE HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• This role requires full-service Healthcare Facilities Management experience: Engineering/Maintenance, Environmental Services/EVS, Construction, Safety, Clinical Engineering/Biomed, Regulatory compliance, etc.
• Healthcare Leadership/Mgt experience (in acute-care setting) is REQUIRED.
• A future assignment could be located anywhere, NATIONWIDE, providing 'short-term' support.Interim Healthcare Facilities Management Director -Contract Role qualifications needed:
  • High School Diploma or GED/equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years' FM experience as a Director /Asst Director level.
  • Minimum 5 years' RECENT, FM leadership experience within HEALTHCARE setting.
  • Experience in healthcare construction management preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Above average working knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance - TJC, DNV, CMS, etc.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
