Job Description:
GENERAL SUMMARYProvides leadership and oversight to the
following specialized programs: Supported Employment, Supported
Housing, Tenant Based Rental Assistance, and Military Veterans Peer
Network (MVPN). Works closely with the Employment and Housing Team
to ensure that program best practice evidence-based models are
implemented and followed. Works collaboratively with Local, State,
and Federal Housing Agencies, including the PHA and Continuum of
Care (CoC), private landlords, and management companies to secure
housing units as well as funding or vouchers (subsidy) for
consumers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESEssential functions

- Supervises the work of assigned personnel, including assigning
and reviewing work, providing guidance, and conducting performance
evaluations.
- Provides leadership and direction for day-to-day operations of
specialized programs.
- Provides workforce recruitment and development for assigned
division. Manages division performance to achieve established
targets/outcomes.
- Manages overall performance of the division by running,
analyzing, and reconciling operational reports, such as direct
service and financial reports, to determine trends and areas of
opportunity for potential improvement.
- Implements process improvements to meet division-specific
strategic planning goals and targets.
- Attends and participates in team meetings to address housing
and division concerns and needs.
- Completes new and renewal contracts for housing funding.
Monitors contracts to ensure stated deliverables are complied with.
Completes Department of State Health Services (DSHS) contract
performance reports.
- Performs other related duties as required.MINIMUM ENTRANCE
QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience - Bachelor's Degree in
Behavioral Health or related field from an accredited university. -
Seven (7) years of experience in behavioral health or related
field. - Fully Qualified (FQ) EIS Professional as outlined in ECI
Policy or another recognized credential/licensure.Licenses or
Certifications - NoneOther Requirements - Must maintain a valid
driver's license and automobile insurance coverage, be able to
travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the
driving record requirements of the Company's auto insurance carrier
if you drive your vehicle during company business. - Must maintain
required credentials and mandatory training requirements to ensure
compliance with all State regulations and CHCS policies. - Must be
able to meet the physical requirements to complete SAMA and CPR
training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55
lbs.; bending, stooping, and getting on and off the floor without
assistance. - Depending on assigned unit/program, applicants for
this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems
(CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS
eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the
following may result in being disqualified for this position:
Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A & B
Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions,
an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor),
and Family Violence Convictions.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master's
Degree in Behavioral Health or related field from an accredited
university.SUPERVISION - Work requires managing and monitoring work
performance by directing multiple groups of employees across more
than one business function, including making final decisions on
hiring and disciplinary actions, evaluating program/work objectives
and effectiveness, and realigning work and staffing assignments, as
needed.COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE OF JOB
DUTIESKnowledge of: - IDEA Act, Part C state and federal
regulations, funding source-related standards, and ECI TAC rule
standards. Child development, knowledge of developmental
disabilities and basic principles of Early Intervention Services to
include ECI standards and/or standards for children with special

requirements. - Business processes and procedures. - Various
funding streams. - Assigned program operations and goals. -
Applicable software applications. - Modern office procedures,

multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios.Ability to: -

DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of
those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be

essential functions. - Must be able to meet the physical
requirements to complete Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) and
CPR training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to
55 lbs.; bending, stooping, and getting on and off the floor
without assistance. - Must have adequate mobility that requires
frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching
(vertical and horizontal), using fingers, hands, feet, legs, and
torso in various care. The employee must be able to regularly lift
and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally must lift and/or move
up to 50 pounds.
