About the Role The Company is seeking a Head of Development for the
US market. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of
project development activities, with a focus on greenfield and
co-development projects, particularly in the areas of utility-scale
storage. This role involves leading the development of BESS
opportunities and sites, including all aspects of the process from
land acquisition to permitting, stakeholder engagement, and
interconnection approvals. The Head of Development will also be
responsible for project management, strategic partnerships with key
stakeholders, and growing and managing a multi-discipline
development team. Experience in overseeing and delivering
utility-scale storage projects is essential, and exposure to
development in specific US regions is strongly preferred.Applicants
for the Head of Development position should have a minimum of 8
years' experience in the industry, with a proven track record in
project development. The role requires a well-rounded project
management background, a desire to work in a fast-paced
environment, and the ability to lead interactions with key EPC
partners. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in
engineering, real estate, or development, and be open to a hybrid
work schedule. Responsibilities also include assisting with offtake
and capital raising activities, so experience in these areas is
beneficial. The Head of Development will play a crucial role in the
company's expansion and will be instrumental in the growth of the
