The Field Technician safely set, maintain, repair and operate multiple types of natural gas compressors in their respective area for Park Energy Services.



Duties & Responsibilities

• Learn to read gas meters and instrumentation recording the amounts of gas received/delivered/consumed and report any operational, temperature and pressure changes as needed in operating logs - - - -
• Learn to watch gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure equipment is working properly - - - -
• Learn the function and repair of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems associated with natural gas compressors - - - -
• Learn to properly set units and perform start-up procedures on location - - - -
• Learn to maintain replacement/repair parts for assigned units - - - -
• Learn to use hand tools to clean, lubricate, adjust equipment, replace filters, gaskets and other items while identifying what kind of maintenance is needed - - - -
• Learn to properly use electronic devices for troubleshooting, testing or commissioning equipment - - - -
• Assist with scheduled and unscheduled equipment repairs and maintenance - - - -
• Will have call-out rotation responsibilities and respond to unscheduled service calls - - - -
• Submit accurate maintenance reports and other necessary paperwork - - - -
• Maintain a current and valid driver's license - - - -

    • High school diploma or GED is preferred - - - -
    • At least 1+ years mechanical experience on engines and/or other mechanical equipment for a Field Tech I; additional years of experience are required for higher levels
