Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager for a hybrid assignment working with our Austin, Texas client. This position requires that you are local to the Austin, Texas area.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the overall assessment of Client's data reporting infrastructure and tools
Conduct stakeholder interviews across business units to understand current state and requirements
Create detailed documentation of findings and recommendations and roadmaps
Develop As Is and To Be documentation, diagrams, workflows, role and responsibilities matrices
Present recommendations and strategies to executive stakeholders
Coordinate with technical lead to ensure alignment of business and technical requirements
Identify risks, issues and mitigation strategies
Provide strategic guidance on data governance and security requirements
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project objectives


Requirements:

10+ years of project management experience with focus on data/analytics assessments and implementations
Proven experience with assessments, feasibility studies, business and technical recommendations, strategic roadmaps, and actionable plans.
Proven track record leading enterprise data strategy and analytics projects
Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating requirements gathering sessions
Strong background in data governance, data architecture, and analytics platforms
Previous consulting experience with demonstrated client relationship management skills
Experience creating detailed project plans, managing teams and projects.
Public sector experience, particularly city/county IT projects preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
